“The world community – mayors of big cities, senators, congressmen, billionaires, businessmen and investors who say they support Ukraine should become world providers of Ukraine and its goodwill ambassadors. Today, the Dnipro is the country’s key humanitarian hub, receiving tens of thousands of refugees every day. The city needs a lot of resources, so if the world can’t close the sky over Ukraine, it has to help with money. Only this can prove that friendship and support are not just words, but real actions.
“What is happening in Ukraine now is not just the biggest and most terrible thing since World War II. It is the Biblical Exodus. If all of you can’t close the sky over Ukraine so that nazi troops stop bombing maternity hospitals and hospitals, kill our children and the elderly, then at least help with money”, — wrote Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov in his address.
